Houston- After an extravagant social networking event, Houston Millennials successfully hosted a space for millennials to advance, pitch business leads and have fun while doing so. Imagine modern speed networking with entertainment and high energy. After dark, prepare to leave with at least one number, vibes, and connections at Houston Millennials.

On (Friday), November 18. Millennials packed a full house at Toque Event Space with one common goal: growing in an atmosphere.

Houston Millennials president Ivan Sanchez passionately spoke about the need to create opportunities for like-minded individuals following his experience working as the Congressional Liaison and Field Representative. However, he soon noticed the power others had, and the lack of attention to the interest individuals paid him.

"Our mission is to promote millennials into positions of power in public, private, and non-private sectors. How do you do that? We decided to do that through seven standing committees representing the most important aspects of a millennial's life, like networking, business, politics, community service, the women's committee, and more. We elect and appoint bad-ass chair people passionate in these industries moving these committees forward," Sanchez said.

The welcoming atmosphere is one of the reasons Houston Millennials are known by the multitude of entrepreneurs and business owners who have harvested seeds from attending networking events. Since 2015, Sanchez's focus has been ensuring spaces for "a seat at the table," Sanchez said, referring to the Houston Millennials networking committee.

Houston Millennials organization currently hosts 36 annual events per year, four levels of membership, 8,900 current members, and six standing committees where members join committees including Networking, Politics, Business, Community, Women's, Health and Fitness, and Executive Council.

"We no longer have to ask permission for anything-think of the committees like a centipede part of a bigger vision. We are running for office, taking those positions to power, starting those businesses. We will teach you how to make a business plan. Come network in a cool space where you can talk to people," Sanchez said.

Individuals have established job landings, long-term relationships, and even marriages from attending Houston Millennials networking events. Also, one of the many benefits for business owners is expanding their economic purchasing power, directly reaching clients as a vendor throughout the night.

The power of networking is unstoppable when you're having fun. Check out millennials ending the night dancing out the door to Beyonce's song of the year, "Cuff It," Texas Robot Show, and a recap of 360 videos captured by Captured Bliss.

The next step for Houston Millennials is to grow globally with chapters across the nation in LA, Chicago, NY, Washington DC, and Miami. While traveling, visitors are invited to come for one night of networking and cool vibes.

Stay connected with Houston Millennials on Instagram @HtxMillennials to attend the next event! See you there.
