Collective Music Group (CMG) and Interscope Records music artist, businessman, and father MoneyBagg Yo, born DeMario DeWayne White Jr, is overcoming two years of back-to-back traumatic events shared on Angie Martinez In Real Life Podcast. The 30-year-old music artist's life changes after losing his child's mother, Chyna Santana, born as Kynnedy Lennette, in a fatal accident and immediately receiving full custody of 3 of his children, now a full-time dad.

"I cried in the shower letting the steam off, recording songs, staying busy as possible, and staying focused," MoneyBagg Yo explained to Angie Martinez.

In his confessional interview, MoneyBagg Yo notes that he is just now opening up about a few back-to-back traumatic events, such as a miscarriage with his girlfriend, Ari Fletcher, losing his child's mother and close friends to the streets, all while making music trying therapy and fatherhood with his eight children.

As far as his authorized output that releases Friday June 6, MoneyBagg Yo recently revealed the new project last song on the mixtape "More Sick" Bagg talks about Fentanyl drug, saying, "When I' ain't taking these drugs I get nauseous" and the pause in between making music, and what he chose to run to during the grieving period of facing his trauma.

Another song from the mixtape, "No Show," was given constructive criticism by his girlfriend, Ari Fletcher, which is also her favorite song on the mixtape.

Since 2018, MoneyBagg Yo shared that his discipline in faith and prayer has led his career despite everything that has happened.

His goal is to change the narrative of Memphis being a serial entrepreneur with his newest restaurant, Cache 42 Kitchen and Cocktails, with an elevated dining experience.

"I want y'all to look at MoneyBagg Yo like a new artist, don't hold me to the old," said MoneyBagg Yo.
